SWFWMD ANNUAL CROP REPORTING FORMS TO BE MAILED
 
This week (Jan. 22), the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) will mail annual crop reporting forms to water use permit holders. While the annual reporting is a condition of all water use permits issued by the SWFWMD, the water use data submitted is also used to calculate the correct number of annual conservation credits that a grower has earned.
 
Conservation credits are very important because they allow for additional irrigation quantities during dry conditions.
 
FFVA members with permits from SWFWMD are strongly encouraged to complete and return the crop reporting forms. If you need additional information, please contact the FFVA Government Affairs Office at (850) 521-0455.
