ISSUE 1057 CANKER ERADICATION BILL APPROVED The Florida House approved legislation reauthorizing
the 1,900-foot citrus canker eradication law Thursday (March
31), following Senate approval March 17. The law would have
expired June 30. It states that all citrus trees within a
1,900-foot radius of a canker-infected tree must be destroyed
to prevent the spread of the disease. Check the latest FFVA
