ISSUE 1058 DIXIE PRODUCE & PACKAGING SHUTS DOWN A judge has entered a consent injunction freezing the assets of New Orleans-based Dixie Produce & Packaging, which ceased operations early in March,. The assets will be used to pay the company’s produce suppliers. The judge issued a May 2, 2005 deadline to file claims in the U.S. District Court in New Orleans.
