OSHA POSTING REMINDER

All farm employers who employed more than 10 workers at any time during the previous calendar year are subject to the recordkeeping requirements of OSHA and must have posted by February 1 the total count of job-related injuries and illnesses that occurred in their establishment in 2005.

Employers must post OSHA Form 300A "Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses." The form must be posted in the place or places where notices to employees are customarily posted and must remain in place until April 30.

Even if there were no injuries or illnesses during 2005, employers should post the form with zeros entered on the totals line. If you operate in more than one establishment with a combined workforce of 11 or more employees, an OSHA Form 300A must be posted at each worksite.
