April 23, 2007 ISSUE 1163 INTERESTED IN NEW HERBICIDE LABELS? RETURN FFVA SURVEY FFVA’s Environmental & Pest Management Division sent a bulletin to Producer Members April 12 seeking input as to industry interest in two herbicide products that could be registered by FFVA’s subsidiary, Third Party Registrations, Inc. (TPR). The herbicide products are Cobra®, (lactofen) for use in row middles in plastic mulched fruiting vegetables such as tomato, pepper and eggplant; and Pursuit®, for use in fresh market green beans grown in muck soils. Enclosed with the bulletin were two separate grower interest surveys. Returning the surveys is extremely important so that TPR can further investigate the feasibility of obtaining a specific registration for each product.
