COMMENTS NEEDED ON THE FUMIGANT CLUSTER RISK ASSESSMENT ANALYSIS

FFVA’s Environmental and Pest Management Division has mailed out a Bulletin requesting response to the open comment period for the fumigant cluster risk assessment process.  If fumigant materials are important to you and your overall production operation, input and feedback from you on this issue is absolutely critical. 

 

To assist with this effort, included with the Bulletin was a copy of a sample submission letter to help guide comments to EPA on this topic.  The sample letter was written and intended for use by FFVA producer members, and is designed to allow for modifications to grower-specific sets of production circumstances.  Several sections within the sample letter are to be completed by individual responders, and are highlighted so they can be easily recognized. In these highlighted areas, growers should be precise in filling in information specific to their particular situations.
