FUNDRAISER TO AFFECT FUTURE OF FLORIDA AG
The FFVA Political Action Committee (PAC) will hold its third fundraising “Sporting Clays Shoot” Feb. 5 at Quail Creek Plantation near Okeechobee.

“Our last event was a lot of fun with friendly competition, great food and nice prizes,” said PAC Chairman David Neill. “The 2006 event also proved to be the most successful FFVA/PAC fundraiser ever, which allowed FFVA to participate in more political campaigns. We hope you’ll mark your calendar and plan to participate Feb. 5,” said Neill.

This year will feature many key races that will directly affect the future of agriculture and associated industries in Florida, Neill emphasized. These races include at least five open state Senate seats with 18 state senators running for re-election and 35 open state House seats with the remaining 85 incumbent House members running for re-election.

A PAC member or an FFVA staffer will contact FFVA members later this month to discuss support for this event. See the brochure enclosed with this issue of Rap-Up.
