LAST CHANCE TO SIGN UP FOR AG LITERACY DAY Growers and other members of Florida’s agriculture industry are encouraged to participate in Ag Literacy Day 2005, presented by Florida Ag in the Classroom. This year’s event is March 17, with signup deadline March 4. Participants will read a designated picture book about agriculture to a classroom of their choice. Call (352) 846-1391 for information. In related news, Ag in the Classroom is proud to announce the 2005 Outstanding Volunteer of the Year and Outstanding Volunteer Program of the Year awards. Volunteer awards honor individual volunteers who help spread the word to students about the importance of Florida agriculture.
