LEGISLATORS FILE WOMEN IN AGRICULTURE BILL

Florida State Senator Nancy Argenziano (R-Dunnellon) and Representative Marty Bowen (R-Winter Haven) have filed resolutions that would honor the contribution of women in Florida agricultural industry.

Bowen filed S.R. 2704 March 7 and Argenziano filed H.R. 9011 March 21. Many co-sponsors have joined them.

Both resolutions will be read aloud on their respective floors Tuesday (March 29). Florida Agri-Women, an affiliate of American Agri-Women, worked with Argenziano and Bowen in the crafting of the bill.
