FDA GETS NEW ASSOCIATE COMMISSIONER

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has appointed Margaret O’K. Glavin as its new Associate Commissioner of Regulatory Affairs. She replaces John M. Taylor III.

Glavin has overseen the safety of the country’s meat and poultry supply for USDA and was most recently FDA’s Assistant Commissioner for Counterterrorism Policy.
