ISSUE 1064 CHARLES LAPRADD APPOINTED MIAMI-DADE AGRICULTURAL
MANAGER Miami-Dade County Manager George M. Burgess has appointed Charles LaPradd to a new position as agricultural manager for Miami-Dade County, effective May 31, 2005. LaPradd will serve as a single point of contact for farmers and the County and as advocate for Miami-Dade agricultural interests. LaPradd will assist farmers with regulatory issues and help them resolve their disputes. His assignment also includes working with the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs to ensure that Miami-Dade agricultural issues are included in the county's state and federal lobbying efforts. In addition, he will serve as the coordinator
