ISSUE 1065 FIELD DAY IS THIS WEEK The North Florida Research and Education Center
(NFREC) of the University of Florida and the Institute of Food
and Agricultural Sciences, located in Quincy, Florida,will host
its 2005 Vegetable Field Day June 2, 2005. This Vegetable Field
Day will be an information-packed day designed to provide hands-on
educational experiences and research results to farmers, growers,
and agricultural distributors on the various types of research
and technologies provided by the research center as well as opportunities
to find possible solutions to problem crops. Registration is free for those who pre-register
by May 30th. Registration after May 30th is $5. The center cannot
guarantee lunch for walk-ins; therefore your pre-registration
