CANKER SUSPECTED IN HENDRY NURSERY

Another tree nursery may be infected with citrus canker, Florida Department of Agriculture officials said Friday (June 3). The Hendry County nursery, owned by A. Duda & Sons, Inc. would be the third nursery canker find in a month. The others were in the Ben Hill Griffin Inc. operation in Polk County and Hickory Branch in southern Highlands County. Lab tests are expected Monday.
