FLORIDA BANS SOUTH AFRICAN CLEMENTINES

The Florida Department of Agriculture has placed a temporary ban on the import and sale of South African clementines after the discovery of live false codling moth larvae. The larvae were found in shipments received at California border stations. Some other citrus-producing states including California and Arizona have taken similar measures.
