FLORIDA BANS SOUTH AFRICAN CLEMENTINES
The Florida Department of Agriculture has placed
a temporary ban on the import and sale of South African clementines
after the discovery of live false codling moth larvae. The larvae
were found in shipments received at California border stations.
Some other citrus-producing states including California and Arizona
have taken similar measures.
