ISSUE 1070 CONVENTION AUCTION PROCEEDS AGAIN GO TO RCMA FFVA has once again chosen Redlands Christian
Migrant Association (RCMA) as beneficiary of both the silent and
live auctions at the 62nd Annual Convention. The money raised
will benefit RCMA's education and healthcare programs geared to
children of migrant farmworkers. Two years ago, the auctions and
related donations raised $71,000 for the organization, which was
matched by federal and state funds $16 to $1 for a total of over
$1 million. This year's convention, themed Survivor - Outgrow,
Outmarket, Outperform - That's How to Win in Florida Agriculture,
will be held September 25-27 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.
