ISSUE 1076 UF/IFAS TO HOST TOMATO DISEASE WORKSHOP UF/IFAS will host a tomato disease workshop at the North Florida Research and Education Center in Quincy, October 18-19, 2005. Discussion topics include, "Emerging disease and disease diagnostics," " Early blight," "Screening for copper resistance among bacterial pathogens," "Bacterial spot," and more. A hands-on session on monitoring tomato disease will also be offered. The workshop is free for Land Grant University personnel and students. There is a $20 registration fee for other participants.
