ISSUE 1077 CDP SIGN-UP DEADLINE APPROACHING Producers who are eligible for federal crop disaster benefits for 2003-2004 must sign up for the Crop Disaster Program (CDP) by September 9. For CDP 2005, the enrollment period ends December 16. The
CDP
provides
assistance
to
producers
who
suffered
2003,
2004
or
2005
crop
losses
as
the
result
of
damaging
weather
or
related
conditions.
The
2005
losses
are
limited
to
those
caused
by
hurricanes
in
counties
that
had
a
presidential
disaster
declaration.
