IFAS,

Florida
Department
of
Agriculture
and
Consumer
Services
(FDACS)
and
the
St.
Johns
River
Water
Management
District
(SJRWMD)
have
scheduled
a
grower
meeting
on
October
6,
2005
at
10:00
a.m.
at
the
Putnam
County
Extension
office
to
introduce
PotatoBlen®
controlled
release
fertilizers.
This
meeting
will
offer
growers
details
on
how
PotatoBlen®
was
formulated
from
several
years
of
IFAS
field
research
with
commercial
potato
growers
and
how
controlled
release
fertilizers
fit
into
Florida's
evolving
best
management
practices
program.
The
SJRWMD
and
FDACS
staff
will
also
discuss
the
potential
of
cost
share
programs
for
controlled
release
fertilizers. For
