Florida's orange crop forecast is now pegged at 162 million boxes, according to the Florida Agricultural Statistics Services (FASS) newly revised orange and grapefruit crop forecasts issued Friday (December 9). The amount is lower than the pre-Hurricane Wilma forecast but higher than last years numbers. The same holds true for grapefruit where production is forecast at 16.0 million boxes. Early,
midseason, and navel varieties of oranges are forecast at 80.0 million boxes and
