Operation Cleansweep, a program that provides farmers, nursery operators, and others a one-time safe and economical way to dispose of their cancelled, suspended, and unusable pesticides, has once again seen encouraging results.
As of December 9, the program (during 2005) successfully made collections from 25 counties, representing 68 participants. A total of 49,042 pounds have been collected.
