The
new Canadian nutritional labeling law is now in effect. This law applies to any
value-added fresh fruit or vegetable product with labeling implying that the product
has health benefits. For
more information and exemptions, access the Canadian Fruit Inspection Agency (CFIA)
web site. Also on the site is a tool kit for importers to make sure they are complying
