LaVigne, chief executive officer and executive vice president of Florida Citrus
Mutual, said Monday (January 2) he will resign effective February 1. LaVigne has
been with Mutual since 1998. LaVigne
will become the new president and chief executive officer of the American Seed
Trade Association. Florida
Citrus Mutual's board of directors will meet Wednesday (January 11) to develop
an interim operating plan. A search for a permanent replacement will be conducted
soon.
