LEAVING DOC Dan
Gunter, head of the Florida Department of Citrus (DOC), announced his resignation
Wednesday (March 15). It will be effective April 16. Gunter has accepted the post
of chief operating officer of Alico Inc. DOC appointed Mike Sparks, the department's director of strategic planning and evaluation, as interim director while a search group looks for a replacement. ALSO IN THIS WEEK'S RAP-UP (Members-Only articles are indicated in bold.)
