SALES UP 2.7 PERCENT
Winn-Dixie supermarkets reported sales in February were $600.5 million, up 2.7
percent from the same period a year ago. The company also told an industry publication
it had reduced its operating loss for the month to $4.3 million, down from a $12.7
million loss a year ago.
