ISSUE 1110
FUNGICIDE
CONTAINERS MAY HAVE LABELING ERROR Growers/dealers/distributors who purchased or are in possession of DuPont's Manex Fungicide, marketed in the 2.5 gallon jug, should check the label to make certain that the Agricultural Use Requirements textbox, which contains the Worker Protection Standard requirements, is present on each container. Labels
appearing on the Manex Flowable Fungicide containers sold between November 15
and March 27, 2006 are missing the entire Ag Use Requirements section, which growers
should be in possession of prior to, after and while using this product. DuPont will supply label leaflets for any mislabeled containers in an effort to right the situation. A more in-depth letter describing the circumstances and ongoing correction activities is available. EPA
and FDACS have been made aware of the situation, but assistance is needed to make
sure every Manex container has the full, correct labeling accessible on the jug. ALSO IN THIS WEEK'S RAP-UP (Members-Only articles are indicated in bold.) | |
