PASSES MORE IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT BILLS The House of Representatives approved two new bills Thursday (September 21) targeting illegal immigration. The first would make it a crime to tunnel under the border. Another would it easier to deport gang members who are not citizens. Earlier in the week, it passed a bill aimed at preventing illegal immigrants from voting. The bills follow the passage of a proposed 700-mile fence along the border with Mexico.
