NAMES TOP LIEUTENANTS Following
his unanimous election to lead the Florida Senate Tuesday (November 21), incoming
Senate President Ken Pruitt named Senator Lisa Carlton of Sarasota as Senate president
pro-tem, and Senator Daniel Webster of Orlando as majority leader. Under
outgoing President Tom Lee, Carlton served as chair of the budget committee, while
Webster had been Speaker of the Florida House before being elected to the Senate
