FFVA NAMES LISA LOCHRIDGE AS DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS

FFVA has named Lisa Lochridge as its director of public affairs, effective November 27. Lochridge, who is nationally accredited in public relations, brings to FFVA a strong background in PR and journalism.

“We’re extremely pleased to have Lisa with us,” said FFVA President Mike Stuart. “She brings a wealth of experience with her, and she is no stranger to the Florida agriculture industry,” he said.

From 1978 to 1999, Lochridge worked in various editorial and management capacities with the Orlando Sentinel, including six years as Seminole County Bureau chief. For the past seven years, she has been an executive with CBR Public Relations in Maitland, providing clients with media relations, issues management and crisis communication counsel.

“I’m delighted to be joining the association,” Lochridge said. “As a Central Florida native, I grew up surrounded by the agriculture industry, so it seems especially fitting that I now have the opportunity to serve the members of FFVA.”

Lochridge is a graduate of Apopka Memorial High School. She holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism and a master's degree in Communications from the University of Central Florida.
