APPOINTS ENVIRONMENTAL AND GROWTH CHIEFS Gov.-elect
Charlie Crist announced two new appointees Thursday (Dec. 21). Tom Pelham will
serve as secretary of the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) and Michael Sole
will become secretary of the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). Pelham held the DCA position earlier under then-Gov. Bob Martinez from 1987 to 1991. Sole is a longtime DEP administrator. ALSO IN THIS WEEK'S RAP-UP (Members-Only
