- USDA
OFFERS EXPORT ASSISTANCE
-
- Those
wishing to apply for either USDAs Quality Samples Program (QSP) or the Technical
Assistance for Specialty Crops (TASC) program have until Feb. 12 to submit applications
and a Dun & Bradstreet number to the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS). Applications
accepted after that date will be considered if additional funding is available.
-
- The
QSP helps U.S. exporters provide samples of American commodities to foreign buyers
who have not previously used them as a means to encourage new purchases.
-
- The
TASC program helps open, retain and expand markets for U.S. specialty crops. Resources
are provided to address barriers, including phytosanitary or related technical
restrictions that prohibit or threaten the export of U.S. specialty crops.
-
- For
additional information, contact FAS Program Policy Staff at (202) 720-4327,
or by e-mail at ppsadmin@fas.usda.gov.
