FLORIDA SENATE HOLDING PUBLIC MEETINGS ON GREENBELT REFORM
 
The Florida Senate Finance and Tax Committee has scheduled a series of meetings around the state to hear from growers as to why the Greenbelt land tax exemption is necessary for agriculture.
Two meetings will be held Feb. 12, one at Palm Beach Community College at 9 a.m. and the other at Broward Community College at 6 p.m. Meetings also will be held at Miami Dade College, Hillsborough Community College, Florida Gulf Coast University and Valencia Community College.
 
As details are finalized, they will be posted at www.FLSenate.gov, under “Property Tax Reform.”
