SIGN-UP FOR USDA'S 2005 HURRICANE DISASTER PROGRAMS ENDS MARCH 30

The extended deadline to sign up for seven 2005 Hurricane Disaster Programs is now March 30, USDA's Farm Service Agency (FSA) announced Feb. 27. These programs offer financial assistance to farmers and ranchers who suffered losses due to Hurricanes Katrina, Ophelia, Rita or Wilma in 2005. Under the Act, USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) will provide payments to eligible producers.
