BRONSON HOSTS “FARM TO FUEL” SUMMIT

Florida Agriculture and Consumer Services Commissioner Charles Bronson is hosting a “Farm to Fuel” summit July 18-20 at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort in St. Petersburg.
The meeting will cover current initiatives relating to ethanol and bio-diesel, as well as other opportunities for renewable energy production in Florida.
The Farm to Fuel initiative seeks to enhance the market for and promote the production and distribution of renewable energy from Florida grown crops, agricultural wastes, residues and other biomass.

Reservations for the event should be made directly with the resort, which can be reached at (888) 303-4430.

The federal government has said that the Clean Water Act and the Endangered Species Act are in conflict and that EPA has no obligation to enforce the Endangered Species Act. The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear oral arguments on the consolidated cases later in April.
