NFREC-SUWANNEE VALLEY TO HOST FIELD DAY

The UF/IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center-Suwannee Valley (NFREC-SV) will be hosting its annual Twilight Field Day in Live Oak on May 1 from 4 to 8 p.m.
Farmers and others will be able to get a first-hand look at research projects being conducted at the facility. Tours will be offered covering vegetables, greenhouse and hydroponics, forage crops, fruits and nuts and forestry. An “Effective Advertising and Display”program also will be presented.

Early registration fee is $15, which includes meal, tours and program materials. Registration deadline is 5 p.m., April 20. After that time, the cost will be $20 per person. All registration monies must be paid by April 27.
