PUTNAM NAMES CHIEF OF STAFF

U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam, R-Bartow, tapped his assistant chief of staff Matt Joyner April 17 to be the new chief of staff for the 12th Congressional District. Former chief of staff John Hambel left Putnam's office April 13 to seek employment in the private sector.

Joyner, 34, began working with Putnam in 2001 when Putnam was sworn in for his first term in office. Joyner will divide his time between Putnam’s Washington, D.C., and Bartow offices.
