NOMINATIONS SOUGHT FOR FLORIDA AGRICULTURAL HALL OF FAME

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services announced May 30 that nominations are being accepted for candidates to the Florida Agricultural Hall of Fame in 2008. The deadline for submitting nominations is September 1.

Nomination forms may be requested by calling (813) 628-4551or access them online at www.flaghall offame.com.

The nominees, chosen by an independent panel of judges, will be announced later this year. The induction ceremony will take place during the 30th annual Florida Agricultural Hall of Fame banquet and awards ceremony at the Florida State Fair in February 2008.
