CITRUS GREENING CONFIRMED IN POLK COUNTY

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has confirmed four cases of citrus greening in Polk County.

All were discovered and confirmed in the middle of August but were not publicized by the state until Sept. 20.

With these most recent findings, Polk becomes the 26th Florida county with a confirmed greening case.
