FLORIDA AGRICULTURE LITERACY DAY SET FOR APRIL 10

The school year started later in Florida this year, which means Florida Agriculture in the Classroom’s Florida Agriculture Literacy Day will be held a month later than usual -- April 10, 2008. Hundreds of Florida agriculture industry volunteers are invited to read a special children’s book developed in honor of next year’s event.

Registration for Florida Agriculture Literacy Day will begin in early 2008, and online registration will be available on Florida Ag in the Classroom’s Web site, www.agtag.org, for the first time.
