DEP TO HOLD WORKSHOP ON DIESEL IDLING RULING

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is holding a workshop on rulemaking to reduce long-duration diesel engine idling. The department proposes to create a new rule to reduce emissions from long-duration diesel engine idling.

The workshop will be held at 3 p.m. Dec. 5 at the DEP’s Carr Building, Room 170, 3800 Commonwealth Blvd., Tallahassee. If you are unable to attend the workshop, you may submit written comments to: lynn.scearce@dep.state.fl.us
