FARM BILL DEBATE CONTINUES IN SENATE

Senate leaders agreed Dec. 6 that a total of 40 amendments will be allowed in upcoming farm bill debates - 20 amendments for Democrats and 20 for Republicans.
The exact list of amendments had not yet been determined as of Rap-Up deadline.
The agreement could allow the Senate to pass the legislation before the end of the year. The House passed its version in July.
