PMA FRESH SUMMIT TOWN HALL-STYLE MEETING TO FOCUS ON FOOD SAFETY

In the shadow of the recent salmonella outbreak, the Produce Marketing Association will feature a town hall meeting at its Fresh Summit conference in Orlando to address food safety issues. Public health authorities, government officials and industry experts will be on hand to discuss the investigative process, what they have learned from these outbreaks, and to answer questions. The meeting will be held Oct. 24 at 2:45 p.m. The Fresh Summit takes place Oct. 24-27 at the Orange County Convention Center. Go to www.pma.com for additional information.
