CENTRAL FLORIDA SECOND HARVEST BENEFITS FROM PMA FRESH SUMMIT

Produce and floral suppliers exhibiting at the Produce Marketing Association's (PMA) annual Fresh Summit International Convention and Exposition donated almost 250,000 pounds of fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Local food bank volunteers collected the items from the Orange County Convention Center on Oct. 27. The donation was the largest produce donation ever received by the food ban.
