TOMATO ART TOUR CONCLUDES, CAMPAIGN CONTINUES

The Florida Tomato Art Tour has concluded its schedule.

Positive media coverage for Florida tomatoes included newspaper and television coverage in several markets including Miami, Orlando, Baltimore, Jacksonville and Atlanta. TV coverage will soon be available for viewing at www.floridatomatoart.com.

The message during the tour underscored the fact that delicious, fresh, field-grown Florida tomatoes are available now and highlighted the versatility of using Florida tomatoes in the kitchen.

The tour is part of a larger campaign sponsored by the Florida Tomato Committee to restore consumer confidence in Florida tomatoes after last summer’s salmonella outbreak.

The next round of radio commercials will begin Jan. 5.
