FFVA TRADE ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIPS OPEN

The Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association’s Executive Committee has approved a new associate membership category that will enable all qualified individuals or organizations who provide goods and/or services to Florida agriculture to become Trade Associate members of FFVA.

President Vance V. Vogel has issued an invitation to this segment of the industry to join their friends in supporting FFVA in its activities. In a letter addressed to the Friends of Florida Agriculture, Vogel said, “The Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association extends to you a warm invitation to join our association as a “Trade Associate member.” We have for a long time recognized and appreciated the contributions that you have made to Florida agriculture by providing the valuable goods and services needed by our producer and shipper members. We also recognize the need to extend the lines of communications within the agricultural industry in Florida and with those doing business in Florida who are located outside of the state.

“The Executive Board therefore, on January 21, 1976, voted to extend membership privileges to this segment of the industry in order to improve and preserve our long-standing beneficial relationship. Membership in the association entitles you to receive monthly publications such as “The Harvester,” and other special advantages.

Applications have been mailed to a number of prospective members. However, if any member knows of a prospective member who did not receive an invitation to join, please ask them to contact the Membership Division for details.
