GOV. CRIST ANNOUNCES WATER DISTRICT GOVERNING BOARD APPPOINTMENTS

Gov. Charlie Crist announced April 1 that two people had been appointed to the the Governing Board of the Northwest Florida Water Management District and two to the Governing Board of the St. John’s River Water Management District. All will serve from April 1 until march 1, 2012.

Those appointed to the Northwest Florida Water Management District are:
• Peter Antonacci, 59, of Tallahassee, shareholder of the GrayRobinson law firm.
• Jose Luis Rodriguez, 61, of Monticello, chief executive officer of Trans Tech Agriculture Corp. He succeeds Sharon T. Gaskin.

Appointed to the Governing Board of the St. John’s River Water Management District are:
• Douglas C. Bournique, 56, of Vero Beach, executive vice president of the Indian River Citrus League. He succeeds William W. Kerr.
• Hans G. Tanzler III, 56, of Jacksonville, president of Marion Equities. He succeeds Duane L. Ottenstroer.

All appointments are subject to Senate confirmation
